After talking to our source close to the Club, The West Terrace believe that a takeover is imminent. Our source has told The West Terrace that there has been more talking between all parties concerned this week than at any time since the take over was revealed. After Paul Fletcher's appearance on The Bob Brolly show at the start of the week it seems that take over talk hasn't been far from Sky Blue lips.

We believe it could be as soon as two weeks before an announcement is made and certainly by the end of the month and to add a further twist to the take over saga we believe that the party involved is NOT Manhattan Sports Capital Partners. At the end of a week of rumours, counter rumours, speculation and innuendo this new twist will shock the City faithful who have lashed out at pretty much all parties concerned.

We have seen on line petitions directed at Coventry City Council after it was alleged Paul Fletcher had said the council were blocking the plans although Fletcher has never made such comments. We have seen anger directed at ACL, Manhattan Sports Capital Partners and Paul Fletcher. The Higgs Trust, the caterers, Jim the gateman, Geoffrey Robinson, in fact pretty much anyone and everyone involved with the club.

At this moment in time The West Terrace is not at liberty to reveal its sources although we are working tirelessly to substantiate the information passed to us. As soon as we have any more information we will endeavour to pass it on to the readers of The West Terrace.

Whether this information holds substance or not only time will tell but here at The West Terrace we will never hold information back from the fans if we hear something that may be of interest to Coventry City fans.
